Program Description
GO MAINE is a statewide commuter services program connecting Maine commuters and employers with low-cost, healthy and environmentally friendly commuting options. Program services include carpool ridematching, express vanpools, public transit and bicycle commuting information, the Emergency Ride Home Guarantee, and coordination of the annual Commute Another Way Day.
Two new Ford 12-passenger vans were recently purchased for the GO MAINE Commuter Program with funds from the MaineDOT. These vans will replace existing vans on the Auburn-Lewiston to Augusta and Portland to Augusta express commuter vanpool routes.

GoMaine also just posted a video on You Tube showing how to use the public bike racks mounted to the front of most buses. Take a look here.
Administered by the Greater Portland Council of Governments, GO MAINE is sponsored by the Maine Department of Transportation and the Maine Turnpike Authority.
