Consultant Selected for Brownfields Grant

In August 2009, GPCOG was awarded a total of $400,000 in stimulus funds from the USEPA to conduct environmental assessments on sites in Cumberland County contaminated by hazardous substances and/or petroleum.

Through a competitive procurement process, GPCOG is pleased ot have chosen Credere Associates of Portland, Maine to serve as our partner for the Brownfields program. The Credere team, led by Project Manager Rip Patten, will be involved in every aspect of the work, including inventory, environmental assessments, and planning for remediation and reuse of sites.
