Maine DECD Storm Damage Assessment from Maine Businesses
posted on November 7th, 2017
The past few weeks have been difficult for our communities recovering from the severe damage and power outages from the late October storm. The Maine Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) needs your help in reaching out to business owners who are assessing storm damage to their businesses. The DECD is the lead state agency for economic recovery and is working with the Maine Energy Management Agency (MEMA) to determine what federal resources are available to businesses. DECD has requested town managers to forward a brief survey to small businesses in your community. The completed form should be emailed to DECD at email@example.com by Thursday 11/9 at 10 a.m. This form is asking for an estimate of uninsured losses as a direct result of the storm and sustained power outage. You can download the survey here.
