In June 2016 the Federal Highway and Transit Administrations completed their joint certification review of the Portland Area Comprehensive Transportation System (PACTS) metropolitan transportation planning process for the Portland, Maine Transportation Management Area.

Addressing Items in the Report
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) presented the report to the PACTS Executive Committee on September 6, 2016. PACTS and our partners will work during the next three years to address the recommendations listed on pages 8 to 10 in the report. The federal agencies will perform their next joint review in 2020.
