Biddeford City Council to hold emergency meeting tonight (Monday)

Posted on March 16, 2020 at 12:22 PM by Tom Bell

The Biddeford City Council is holding an emergency meeting at 5:30 p.m. tonight to consider an emergency declaration. As part of the emergency, the city would be shutting down public access to all city buildings without prior appointments.   Details on that process are being worked out.

With the national and state declarations, there might be the potential for some financial reimbursement down the road, according to Biddeford City Manager Jim Bennet. He said paperwork is critical, he suggests that the municipal managers start tracking everything now.
