Falmouth to keep town offices closed thru March 27

Posted on March 16, 2020 at 8:44 PM by Tom Bell

The Town of Falmouth has issued the following statement:

The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in our area is increasing. This, combined with our priorities listed above, is why we have decided to keep the Town Hall and Public Works buildings closed through March 27.  We will continue to develop plans to allow residents to continue to receive services from these locations and will provide an update in the near future. Please note, most services offered at Town Hall can be completed online. Please call Town Hall at 207-781-5253 or Public Works at 207-781-3919 if you have any questions.

In addition, we are closing the Transfer Station through March 27 effective immediately. Curbside pick up will still occur. Previous closure announcements regarding other facilities remain unchanged.  Find an updated list of closures and cancellations here

As noted in previous updates, this is a rapidly evolving situation. The Falmouth Emergency Management Team is closely monitoring the situation. We will continue to provide regular updates to the community through E-Alerts, social media, and our Emergency Management webpage.
