Town of Naples Announces COVID-19 Response, Guidance to Residents

Posted on March 17, 2020 at 8:34 AM by Tony Plante

Effective March 16, 2020 and until further notice, the Town of Naples has taken numerous steps to protect the public and municipal staff while providing access to essential services as much as possible. Please refer to the town's press release for more information.

Most town office services will be made available remotely; the town office is closed to the public. Residents are advised to make use of online services or to call the town office and be assisted by staff. The Casco Naples transfer station remains open, but the transfer station side only. The bulky waste side is closed.

The annual town meeting scheduled for April 28 has been postponed, though May elections are still planned at this time. All non-essential meetings have been suspended.

General assistance services may be accessed by phone and by document drop at the town office lockbox. Before and aftercare programs are closed; free meals for children age 18 and under are being provided by the school district and are available for pick up daily at Kent's Landing from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The CrossWalk Community Outreach Food Pantry is working on a plan to provide services to those in need. Call CrossWalk directly at 207-615-3226 for more information.
