Raymond Coronavirus Measures

Effective March 17, 2020 the Town of Raymond has put the following measures in place:
  • All town buildings are CLOSED to the public until further notice
  • Town office staff WILL continue to provide services, but the public are asked to call ahead (207-655-4742 x124) for any business that cannot be done online, by phone, or by mail
  • A transaction space outside the town office will be set up in the parking lot where staff using appropriate protective equipment can assist with transactions (detailed instructions are available at https://www.raymondmaine.org/
  • All internal and external meetings are cancelled or postponed until further notice, awaiting guidance on how to conduct meetings legally under an emergency declaration
Officials are encouraging everyone to practice social distancing strategies, all town buildings are being cleaned frequently according to best practices, and the public will be kept advised through this site, the town's website, Facebook, and electronic signs.

The Raymond Public Safety Department in cooperation with Age Friendly Raymond are compiling a list of high-risk individuals to conduct well-being checks.

The Raymond Public Library also is closed until further notice.
