Saco facilities closed, including transportation center

Posted on March 18, 2020 at 5:19 PM by Tony Plante

The City of Saco's municipal facilities, including the Saco Transportation Center are closed to the public effective until April 1, 2020. All public meetings, except for City Council meetings, will be postponed until further notice.

The city stresses that it is implementing preventive actions out of caution, not panic, and that they are in the best interest of our community. The city asks for the public's assistance in keeping community members safe. City staff are preparing plans for the continuation of municipal services and minimizing risk to employees under the Center for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines regarding COVID-19.

The Mayor encourages all citizens to practice enhanced social distancing and follow the Center for Disease Control and Preventions recommendations to minimize the spread of COVID-19.

Please visit the City of Saco's public health page for complete details.
