Yarmouth suspends all code enforcement inspections

Posted on March 23, 2020 at 5:15 PM by Tom Bell

A note from Town of Yarmouth Code Encofrcement Officer: Until further notice, the Town of Yarmouth is suspending field inspections for Building, Plumbing, and Electrical permits. Permits are still required, and will continue to be reviewed and issued. After issuance, if you choose to proceed with the work at this time, please complete and submit the appropriate work certification forms (i.e. Building, Plumbing, and Electrical), photo document all work, and email forms and photos to the Code Enforcement Officer, Nicholas Ciarimboli at nciarimboli@yarmouth.me.us (attachments are best). Please include the property address in the subject line. As with any work that goes uninspected, that work is at risk. When inspections resume, if work is found to be deficient based on non-invasive visual inspection, corrections may be required in order to receive a final certificate of occupancy. Final Certificate of Occupancy inspections will not occur during this suspension period, but will resume as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you for your time and patience during this period.
