Ryan administers the Greater Portland Council of Government's (GPCOG
) Transit Planning program and the PACTS Transit Committee, supporting the efforts of the Greater Portland region’s seven transit agencies to increase the use of public transportation through improved service and coordination. Ryan helps to manage the programming of federal transit funding in the region.
Ryan also works with the PACTS Executive and Policy Committees on transportation funding and policies for the Greater Portland region.
Before joining GPCOG
in 2018, Ryan served as program director for the Maine Development Foundation.
Ryan holds a Master’s degree in Community Planning and Development from the Muskie School of Public Service at the University of Southern Maine, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Maine.
