Responsibilities
Christian focuses on land use-related projects, ranging from neighborhood activation methods to comprehensive plans and anything in between. He's particularly interested in simplifying ordinances and regulatory processes to facilitate compelling places, successful businesses, and engaged people.
Professional Experience
Prior to his role with GPCOG, Christian worked as a municipal planner in Maine and Ohio; responsibilities included development review, historic preservation, and a variety of special projects utilizing GIS and other software tools. Additionally, he wrote grants for an environmental engineering firm, which furthered his understanding of stormwater and infrastructure initiatives.
Professional Experience
Christian graduated from the University of Michigan's master of urban and regional planning program. He holds an undergraduate degree from Ithaca College.
