Laura focuses on executing the programs of PACTS, ensuring that plans and projects are grounded in regional goals and compliant with federal and state regulations. She coordinates with stakeholders including transit providers, municipalities, Maine DOT, and the public to ensure that transportation programs are transparent, inclusive, and impactful. She is involved in processes that prioritize and select multimodal transportation projects for federal funding.
Laura began her career working on data-driven improvement projects, technical writing, and operations management in Maine’s paper industry. She then supported energy efficiency projects at BaselineES, an engineering firm focused on food retail HVAC and refrigeration, based in Yarmouth, ME. Most recently, she managed all remote and field engineering services at BaselineES. Overall, she enjoys making positive impacts through data-driven improvement projects.
Laura has a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Maine.
